We have stayed in Gaylord for many years for various reasons events. We decided to try the Downtown as we could easily walk to downtown. It had gotten good reviews in the past. We made the reservation two weeks ahead of the trip. We got a phone call at 9:30 pm the night before that they had CANCELLED our reservation. The reason given was that they could not access our card. We hadn’t arrived yet. And the hotels.com set up was to pay the night of. We then had to scramble to find another room when most everything was sold out or didn’t have good reviews. DO NOT RECOMMEND WHEN THEY CAN NOT KEEP a reservation. 100% NOT HAPPY.

The office smelled like straight up curry powder, our room didn't even have a chair. The mattress was pretty much plywood with cardboard on top. The toilet barely flushed and the ceiling tiles were slimy in the bathroom. Staff was friendly at least.

I don’t know how a place in this shape is allowed to stay in business. To begin with, it was one if not the most outdated check-ins I’ve ever seen. I have stayed in some dumps over the years and the room I had topped them all in terms of absolute filth. I chose to eat my supper in my dirty work truck due to the smell of funk in the room. It was a combination of body odor and a stale ashtray. In the hour or so I stayed I heard nothing but yelling and screaming along the walkway outside. I literally thought I’d end up dodging bullets before it was all said and done. If I could give a compliment, it would be that the guy who checked me in was rather polite… other than that, this place is beyond a dump.

I had reservations had to put a card on file and in my intenary it said will pay at property ... They ran my card several times after it was said I would pay when I got there ... Then rented the room to someone else was there before time they said they tried calling never called .. and said they emailed me never emailed ... Very unprofessional.....

Rude as ever. No bath towels in room, when I asked for some I was told to buy or bring my own. Creamer was bad, very poor service.

I just called to get price for a 1-night stay. The person I spoke with had a very strong accent and I was not able to understand the price she gave me. I said "I mean no disrespect but I am having a difficult time understanding you" SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! I was shocked! DO NOT STAY HERE. That tells me alot about this place.

We stay here when we come to town as the price is right and the rooms are worth it. The location is absolutely ? great as it is within walking to local shops, the restaurants, bars and breweries.

If you are testing at pai center do not stay here cheep price my son an I stayed their last night nothing but a drug place up till 2 in the morning rooms were not that clean the staff hardly speak English had a guy at 2 o clock at 2 in the morning running around out side threading to kill people the police ate called the guy left before they got their owners of of thmotel did nothing pice of crap that is why I was only $66 dollars for the night room was dirty and and alot of drug traffic and bull shit half of the night

Inexpensive clean cozy, close to Alpine Café with great food and cozy bar.

Dirty,rude staff, roaches as well, don't forget the drug trafficking that happens there. Not a safe place
