This campground is amazing, it is like a camping resort. Everything you need is onsite. It is beautiful, an amazing water park, nice pool, hot tub, putt putt golf, corn hole , paddleball and even a cute dog park. Golf carts and child and adult hot wheels are available for rent to make your stay more fun! The restaurant and bar Mulligans is so cute, they have virtual golf and the nicest staff. David was a great bartender. They also have an adorable shipping container style bar with drinks and snacks for the adults and kids. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a long weekend from Thursday, August 6th through Sunday, August 9th. We booked a back-in RV site in the Western Bluffs. Site 21. We checked in later in the evening on Thursday since we didn't get on the road until later than planned. Check in process was super smooth and easy. My only suggestion there would be advising the guest the easiest way to get to their site rather than just handing a packet and map. Once we got set up, we decided to give Mulligans a try for a quick bite to eat since we did not feel like cooking. We were seating immediately and our server approached the table quickly as well. She took our drink order and came back with those. She advised us that the kitchen closed in about a half an hour so we got our orders in quickly. We ordered two quesadillas, two sliders, firecracker shrimp and fried pickles. We placed our order roughly around 8:10 pm. Our food didn't arrive until around 8:45. There were hardly any other patrons in the restaurant at the time. The sliders, quesadillas and pickles were good. Salsa is fantastic! The firecracker shrimp was terrible. It was way overcooked and dry. Server never came back to check in, and I had to ask the gentleman who dropped off our food for refills on our drinks. After we ate, I had to go to the bartender to get our check and pay. All this time, we observed our server eating, chatting with the bartender and completely ignoring the fact that we were waiting for her. My wife and I have both worked in food service and hospitatlity for many years and we normally tip 25-30% but this was NOT the case this time. Pretty dissapointing. The rest of our trip was great, however. The resort is clean, neat and brand new. Other reviews complaning of no grass or trees are kind of moot points as greenery takes time to grow. I can see how in a few years, once the growing pains are sorted out, this resort is going to be an amazing place. Our site, W21 was easy to get backed into and settled. One side of the site is all open which was great for our dog to be able to roam around a bit. My only note on the site would be pay attention to where you book as this site was right next to the main road and was noisy all the time from the traffic. That was my own fault for not paying attention when I booked, and no fault of the resort. My kids spent two days at the Wibit course and had an absolute blast both days. Staff were all friendly and attentative. Water and obstacles were clean and in good repair. We did the slucing and mini golf and were very happy with both of those ammenities as well. There was karaoke and live music both nights that we were there. On Saturday evening, we went to the pool area as a family and enjoyed corn hole, karaoke and volleyball. This area is gorgeous with the astro-turf and cabanas as well as a small bar area. We plan to return next year with a larger group and camp as a family. We can't wait to watch this resort grow and be frequent guests.

Very nice newly developed campground (opened in 2025). We stayed in cabin 5. As a family of 4, with a large dog, there was plenty of space. Having a dresser with a mirror in the master bedroom was a nice touch, made you feel at home. Very clean, everything you’d need in a cabin. The only thing missing from the cabin was a grill. We are avid cabin campers and this was the first time we’ve ever stayed at a cabin that did not have one. So we had to make our burgers in the oven, which was a little weird because they didn’t provide a wire rack with the baking sheet, so we had to eat greasy burgers. Another “nice to have” would have been a shade on the cabin’s front door and shades in the loft windows, for more privacy. Anyone could come up and just see start into the large glass window on the front door. Internet does not work well - not a surprise, most campgrounds don’t have good internet. Another plus was the large swimming pool. You’d think that it wouldn’t be as big, since they have Inukshuk Shores “Waterpark” there (which really just consists of a very small beach and wibits in a manmade lake). Anyway..overall, great staff, great campground. Will be even better once the grass and trees are fully grown - there was a lot of sand/dirt around.

My family visited Alpen Bluffs for the first time this past weekend and thought it was a great experience. We came in with low expectations based on past reviews, but were pleasantly surprised and honestly, book now before this place takes off because it’s going to! The place is huge and there are so many great amenities and things to do. The on-site restaurant has an awesome atmosphere, good food, and a ton of golf simulators inside. Outside the restaurant, just off the patio, there’s outdoor games like corn hole, shuffle board, putt-putt golf, and more. The outdoor pool is large and spacious, again with so many other activities to do up by the pool—a container bar, cabanas for shade, a hammock garden, outdoor games, live music, and more. Everything was up and running during our stay including the inflatable water park at InukShuk. All of the facilities are so clean and well maintained, and while trees, grass, and more landscaping would have been a nice touch during our visit, those things will come with time as this place becomes more established. We’ve already talked about returning in the future!

Be aware before you book here. This place is not as advertised on the website. Maybe it will be one day but not now. You are basically camping in a Walmart parking lot. Not a tree over two feet tall and grass is hard to find and patchy at this point. The facilities that are done are nice and the staff was great. However, the features they said they had that we came for with our kids are non existent. They didn't let us know ahead of time, you find out at check-in. No pool, no playground, no jumping pillow, nothing but pavement and construction. The inflatables in the retention pond were not even fully inflated. We had a Bobcat running up and down the road all morning on Saturday. The wind was horrible and there is no mature landscaping to act as a barrier. Out of the dozen occupied campsites I think at least 8 were construction workers working on the facility. It might be a nice place in 5 years but after the bait and switch they pulled on us we won't ever go back. Update after owners response- While it's nice they responded it is 100% false that they reached out to update guests. We booked in December and didn't ever hear 1 peep from them about not being fully operational. We even talked to them on the phone a couple weeks before our stay to let them know we had a different camper than when we booked and update our reservation. No mention of anything was made at that time either.

My wife and I have been to Alpen Bluffs many times.The facility is large with many things to do,such as swimming with large flotations and slides,along with more outside games.All cabins to be rented are gorgeous.The food is very reasonably priced,and very good.Inside also has several golf simulators for all golfers,along with a first class bar!!If you need anything for your stay they have a nice store. We love the place and will plan longer stays! Thank you Alpen Bluffs

Stayed here while in town visiting some friends & was very happy with my stay! Management is great. The cabin we stayed in was very clean & very spacious. We were able to comfortably fit 4 adults & 4 children with room to spare. Plenty of places to sleep as the cabin offers 2 full loft beds, a pull out couch, a bunk bed & a bedroom with a full bed. Kitchen was fully furnished & had a nice little breakfast bar & table for us to eat at. Bathroom was nice & clean. Shampoo/conditioner, washcloths & towels were provided for showers. The front of the cabin has a porch that’s perfect for early morning sunrises or sunsets. We had Mulligans at the bluff for dinner which was across from our cabin & it was fantastic. If you forgot anything for your stay & need to run to the store no worries! Walmart & Meijer are 7 mins away! Super convenient. We were unable to do the extra activities due to it being April & the weather. However, we can’t wait to go back this summer to get the full experience. I’ve already recommended this place to family & friends.

We were looking for something to do for a teenager birthday party on a possibly rainy day in October, and we found Alpen Bluffs' virtual golf online. I emailed for more information and heard back immediately from a manager, who was responsive and answered all my questions. He reserved two bays, Bay 3 and 4, for us yesterday, October 18th. It was a great time! Ten boys, 14 and 15 years old, played virtual golf for about an hour and half with drinks and appetizers. The manager gave us a deal with a large group booking and the server was always conscious and helpful to keep within our budget for 12 people! We got all-around awesome service and everyone was so nice. The boys loved it!

We stopped by to take a look and walk around, and we loved it! The staff was very welcoming, especially Kaylyn in the restaurant. She helped us with the Golf simulation and we had a great time! Looking forward to staying in the campground next season!

We've been here for 4 days (leaving tomorrow), and have loved it! Sure, it's still in the construction process and has limited amenities, but we've thoroughly enjoyed our stay with everything that's currently offered. The food at Mulligans is fantastic! We've eaten there 3 of the 4 days and loved it every time. The water playground is wonderful! The staff is very attentive and our 7 year old would've stayed and played all day everyday if we let him. Every single employee that we've encountered has been exceptional! From management (shout-out to Jim) to the people working at every desk and every booth. They've all gone above and beyond for us without having ever been asked. When construction is done and all amenities are available, I predict that it'll be hard to get a reservation. It'll be a true gem and we look forward to coming back, and experiencing it all!
