I could write a small book about my experience there. Absolutely cleanest hotel I have been in in a long time, rooms are nice, beds are comfy, nice lotion and shampoo and conditioners, microwave, fridge, coffee pods w pods. Breakfast for a continental Its so much more, nice variety of coffee in machine 24/7, eggs w cheese, sausage, pancake and waffle machine, of course yogurts, chocolate milk, bagels, variety of breads for toast, applesauce and fruit cups, peanut butter, juices, and just so clean, the woman who took care of the kitchen area was so nice and kept everything full at all times, she is definitely on her game. The housekeeping staff are just as nice and helpful, and do an exceptional job. Front desk ladies were helpful w anything needed, my sis had surgery and didn't know they were going to keep her, so I was on a hunt for a hotel, the price was a bit high for me normally, and if I would have known to book directly w them I would of had a discount if your there from hospital, dumb move on my part so $119 I paid. I know this is a long review but I had to speak on this hotel. I've been to many comfort inns and they were dumps, but not this one. Pool was warm, didn't have chlorine smell like other places, I wanted to go in hot tub which was outside which that's awesome but I went in pool first and since I was wet so I chickened out, but next time I'm doing it, to be in a hot tub and snowing like heck outside looks amazing, pool opened till 10 I think also. There is also a snack area that has chips, soda candy ...etc, also tv dinners, nice variety. There employees need to be noticed and rewarded even a raise for thier hard work, I even went to the manager to applaud how nice this place is, he was very happy that I spoke to him. So at end of day this place is my go to out of any other hotel in gaylord, the only way I won't though depends on price, please keep it affordable. So to the higher ups that have tons of money needs to give them employees that raise at least incentives they deserve it, and if you want to keep that staff you better do it. I will be back soon looking forward to it to.

I spent February 27,28 2026 very nice hotel the gentleman at the front desk for check in sorry cant remember his name. Had a wonderful attitude could multi task very well, the room was better then I expected hats off to housekeeping pool was nice I didn't get in the pool but granddaughter n nieces did hot tub felt wonderful I did use that. Breakfast was very nice hot food not just ceral. I'll definitely be back

I just recently stayed there and I am so impressed w/ this hotel and the reason I say that is I have stayed at many comfort inns and they were pretty much rated at a #1. This hotel is impeccable, so clean, everything on point. Employes are very friendly and so accomodating, smiling, professional, impressive. The breakfast was great so many choices, the woman who took care of food kept everything filled nothing ran out, hard worker, took pride in her kitchen and customers. Loved the various coffees, fabulous. Rooms are so clean, comfortable bed, microwave, coffee makers fridge, everything you needed. Pool was warm, couldn't smell chlorine at all and opened till 10. I don't know how people would rate this place under a 5. Front desk women are so helpful and willing to converse w customers, awesome. I feel these employees need to be given a raise or awarded continually as they work very hard at your hotel, im seriously impressed. I go to lots of hotels this one is top notch to me. The location is a little hard to figure out but I got there. Price wasn't terrible, I try to find hotel under $100 and it would of been as I was up there to take sister for surgery didn't know they were keeping her, so if I would of called directly and tell them my situation I would of recieved a discount on rate. Pretty dumb on my part as I did that a month ago got a discount a different hotel in gaylord. So great hotel I won't stay at any other hotel in gaylord but this one.thanks for the great stay and kindness.

Stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites in Gaylord, Michigan and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made check-in and our stay easy and stress-free. The breakfast had a good variety and was well stocked, which was a nice way to start the day before heading out. The location was convenient for getting around the area, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and safe. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through Gaylord. Wish the hot tub was 24 hr as well as the pool as it’s nice to get in after a night ride of sledding. We will be back for sure!

I very much enjoyed my stay at this Comfort inn. The hot tub is amazing. The staff is very good and the breakfast is very nice. The only concern I have is the doors to the rooms are not well sealed, in fact light freely can be seen around the entire with lights out in the room, and noise and odors travel into your room well. On Saturday evening, there must have been someone smoking in the hallway and my room was filled with cigarette smoke. I called the front desk and they did respond quickly with some sort of spray to get the smell to ease. It does seem with cameras and the ability to seal the doors this could have been prevented.

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay! This is the second time I've stayed here and the quality, cleanliness and awesome staff is still top notch. Nice big rooms with high ceilings and a kitchenette. great location right on the snowmobile trail and walking distance to downtown activities. I'll be back again.

Hie warm and professional demeanor ensures that everything runs smoothly and that guests are well taken care of. His commitment to a high-quality guest experience shines through in her entire staff. The complimentary breakfast was a standout feature, with a wide variety of options that went well beyond the standard fare. There was plenty to choose from, with fresh, hot items and healthy choices to get the day started right. It was delicious and a great added value. For those traveling by car, the abundant and easy-to-access parking was a major convenience. There was no hassle finding a spot, which made coming and going stress-free. Overall, this location offers a true sample of excellent hospitality, and I can't recommend it enough. We will certainly be back on our next trip

Best Hotel and staff, period. As a construction worker I spend all summer in different hotels, across Michigan. I have seen many variations of, “quality”. I have been staying at this hotel 5-6 nights a week, every week, for 3 months. And the hotel and staff are better than any I’ve ever experienced. The morning afternoon and night shift folks are all top notch! The people who work here actually care about the hotel and its guests! And it shows in every clean room, dust free corner, nook and cranny! Best hotel breakfast and coffee I’ve ever had as well…. Outstanding!

Can't wait to stay in this hotel again! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was pleased with how clean, comfortable and up to date the rooms were. The free breakfast was much better than those at other Confort Inns I have stayed in. Can't wait for my next overnight trip to Gaylord!

Housekeeping is phenomenal! Keep up the excellent work! Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff at morning breakfast are amazing, she was constantly replenishing items, cleaning off tables, never experienced such fantastic service at a breakfast in hotel before.
